Chairman of the Falkland Islands Chamber of Commerce from 2006 for 10 years until 2016 and as chair led business delegations to Chile, Uruguay and also Aberdeen and Shetland. Director and General Manager of the Falkland Islands Company Ltd from 2001 retiring in 2016. Co-chaired the current Falkland Islands Economic Development Strategy and has over the years served on the boards of The Falkland Islands Development Corporation and Falkland Islands Tourism.
Currently Chairman of Falkland Conservation a local membership non-governmental organisation that works on behalf of our members and in partnership with the local and international community to conserve the natural environment of the Falklands for future generations. His interest in wildlife and farming attracted him to settle and work in the Falklands. On the board of the Falklands YMCA.
A keen squash player and an ardent England and Lions rugby fan.
Retired in 2016 after 35 years working in the private sector.
