Roger Spink was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Stanley constituency in December 2025. This is his second term, having previously served from 2017 to 2021.
Roger holds the Commercial Services portfolio and is Deputy for Natural Resources.
Roger moved to the Falkland Islands, attracted by an interest in wildlife and farming. He spent 35 years working in the private sector, retiring in 2016. His career included serving as Director and General Manager of the Falkland Islands Company Ltd from 2001 to 2016.
Roger was Chairman of the Falkland Islands Chamber of Commerce for ten years, during which he led business delegations to Chile, Uruguay, Aberdeen, and Shetland. He co-chaired a former Falkland Islands Economic Development Strategy and has served on the boards of the Falkland Islands Development Corporation and Falkland Islands Tourism. He was also Chairman of Falkland Conservation for ten years until 2024.
