The Honourable Jack Ford MLA

Jack Ford was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Camp constituency in December 2025. He previously served as an MLA from September 2023, when he was elected in a by-election, until the 2025 General Election.

Jack is the current Chair of the Legislative Assembly. He holds the Corporate Services portfolio, which includes Treasury, Law and Regulation, and Policy, and is Deputy for Commercial Services.

Jack has lived in the Falkland Islands his whole life, apart from time studying in the UK where he obtained a degree in International Relations.

After completing his education, Jack worked as a Trainee Auditor in the Treasury department for the Falkland Islands Government. During his first term as an MLA, he held lead portfolio responsibility for Emergency Services and Island Security
