The Honourable Michael Goss MLA
Michael Goss was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Camp constituency in December 2025. This is his first term as an MLA.
Michael holds the Natural Resources portfolio and is Deputy for Trade, Industry and Mineral Resources.
Michael is a sixth-generation Falkland Islander, born and raised in the Islands. His ancestor sailed to the Falklands from Stoke-on-Trent and landed at Port Louis in 1841. Michael has lived and worked in both Stanley and Camp.
Michael's career has spanned farming, mechanical engineering, and tourism. He completed an apprenticeship with the Plant and Vehicle Workshops and achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Plant and Vehicle Maintenance at the National Construction College in Norfolk. He later returned to run the family farm and spent fifteen years working as a tour driver and guide, including at Volunteer Point.
Michael has represented the Falkland Islands at the Island Games and Commonwealth Games.
